FIXING CAREER AND LIFE AHEAD
Before coming to the topic, let us think few phrases/sayings of some very intelligent and successful people in their life/phase.
- Plan well, before you start the journey in every walk of life. Remember the carpenter’s and tailor’s rule—Measure twice but cut once.
- Winners are not people who never fail but people who never quit.
खड़ा हिमालय बता रहा है, डरो न आँधी-पानी में।
खड़े रहो तुम अविचल होकर, सब संकट तूफानी में।।
- Do not wake up with the regret of what you could not accomplish yesterday.
Wake up while thinking about what you will be able to achieve today.
- चाणक्य नीति– कोई भी लक्ष्य दृढ़संकल्प व इच्छाशक्ति द्वारा की गई कोशिशों से अवश्य ही हासिल कर लिया जाता है।
‘‘सूरज के मानिंद सफर पर, हर रोज निकलना पड़ता है।
बस बैठे-बैठे दिन बदलेंगे, इसके भरोसे मत रहना।।’’
- Last but not the least, the highest source of motivation are your own thoughts.
Now, let us first define the word “CAREER”. It is an occupation undertaken for a significant period a person’s life and with opportunities for programs.
Everyone on the planet, whatever he chooses or decides is a persuade towards achieving happiness, success and contentment.
Choosing a career can be a fun experience but is always important to think about:
(a) What do you really want?
(b) What are your skills?
(c) You hope to take your career in years to come.
Before we plan on figure-out our future’s goal or life, we should focus on one thing and that is what is the purpose of our being on the planet: Is it just to eat, sleep, reproduce & die one day…. No, definitely it is not the soul purpose of lief. We need to explore the dimension of lief beyond this.
Be sure to think about your interests and listen to yourself and your own goals.
Although other people may have good intentions at heart by giving suggestions and guidance but remember that only you know exactely what is best for yourself.
Some people strive for a career that promise good money, that is, in medical sector, engineering sector or law sector. What do they think is the doctors, engineers and lawyers enjoys most luxuries of the life but they forget to see that becoming a doctor, engineer or a lawyer need some special skill, intellect along with a lot of patience, as they have to invest almost one-third of their life in studying, collecting their degrees (Graduation, Post-Graduation and super specialization) and moreover before they can think of their sollow practice they have to work either with some renowned setups or under the supervision of someone who is renowned as well as has enough knowledge, exposure and experience.
We are just not the physical body, infact we are combination of mind + emotional+ physical body components and held together by the fourth component and that is life energy.
इस बात को हम सरल भाषा में इस एक उदाहरण से समझ सकते हैं-
एक खरगोश ने शेर को शिकार करते हुए देखा और बहुत ही प्रभावित हुआ। घर जाकर अपने माता-पिता से बोल दिया कि अब मुझे भी शेर के जैसा बनना है, जिम जाऊँगा, बॉडी बनाऊँगा और एक दिन मैं भी शेर की तरह शिकार करूँगा और जैसे सब शेर से भयभीत होते हैं, मुझसे भी होंगे। जैसे सब शेर की इज्जत करते हैं, मेरी भी करेंगे।
परन्तु क्या यह संभव है?
स्वाभाविक-सी बात है, सभी एकमत से कहेंगे कि ऐसा तो कभी भी संभव नहीं है।
तो सवाल उठता है, क्यों संभव नहीं है?
जवाब भी सीधा है कि खरगोश का physical, emotional and mental make up and capability उसके dreams and desire का fulfill करने के अनुरूप नहीं है। अब खरगोश चाहे जितना भी hard work करे तो भी अपनी desire को पूरा नहींं कर सकता। तो बात साफ है कि केवल hard work से आप अपने लक्ष्य को प्राप्त नहीं कर सकते, उसकी दिशा भी सही होनी चाहिए, और अक्सर 99 प्रतिशत लोग कैरियर को चुनने में यही गलती करते हैं। खूब मेहनत करते हैं, खूब पैसा खर्च करते हैं, परन्तु पहुँच कहीं भी नहीं पाते। परिणाम–अवसाद और निराशा।
कारण–सही समय पर सही निर्णय न लेना।
सही निर्णय न लेने के पीछे जो एक सबसे बड़ा कारण है, वह है– “Unorganised Mind” और अगर थोड़ा विस्तार में जाएँ तो–
- Unorganized Physical Energy
- Unorganized Emotional Energy
- Unorganized Mental Energy
- Unorganized Life Energy
We are just not the physical body, infact we are combination of mind + emotional + physical body components and these three components are bound and held together by the fourth component and that is life energy.
If you really learn to organize these four components of your’s, then everything within you and around you will be organized and whatever you will choose or decide will be the ULTIMATE.
Most of the time our thoughts, decisions, and actions are just compulsive means not coming from our conscious mind. And anything that comes compulsively is always disorganized, just a chaos and chaos will take you no where.
Now the things which is most important here is learn to shift the mode of your mind from compulsive mode to conscious mode.
और यह कैसे संभव है?
यह संभव है—निम्न तीन को अपने को जीवन का अभिन्न अंग बनाकर–
- आहार—Food we take in our day to day life.
- निद्रा—Sleep enough and nestful.
- आत्मसंयम— Self-discipline.
वर्तमानकाल की वर्तमान पीढ़ी में उपर्युक्त तीनों ही का नितान्त अभाव मुझे दिखाई देता है।
आहार की बात करें तो क्या खाने योग्य है, क्या खोन योग्य नहीं है, कब खाना है, कब नहीं खाना है, हम भली-भाँति जानते हुए भी इसका उल्लंघन करते हैं और परिणाम …… खराब भौतिक स्वास्थ्य।
If possible, talk to people who are already working in that field. They will be able to give you a good idea of the pros and cons of the career.
निद्रा की बात करें तो electronics and digital world परिणाम, जैसे empty and exhausted battery के साथ आपका electronic gadget काम नहीं करता वैसे ही आपका शरीर जो कि एक most sophisticated gadget काम नहीं करता और परिणाम—Dullness, laziness, no desire to work, no enthusiasm, depression etc.
आत्मसंयम—Internet के वर्तमान युग में आपके smartphone के screen पर वह सब कुछ उपलब्ध है जो आपकी उम्र, आपके संस्कार और आपकी शारीरिक व मानसिक परिपक्वता के अनुरूप नहीं है। Electronic and digital disease complex के रूप में हम डॉक्टर्स लोगों में खासकर ‘किशोर अवस्था वाले ग्रुप में’ शारीरिक एवं मानसिक विक्षिप्तता से जूझ रहे हैं और जिसका कोई सफल निदान भी वर्तमान चिकित्सा प्रणाली के पास नहीं है।
उपर्युक्त वर्णित तीनों यानी उचित व सही आहार, निद्रा एवं आत्मसंयम के अभाव से जो गलत उत्पन्न होते हैं– These are the consequences of unorganized mind which generates compulsive thoughts and leads to irrational and unrealistic action.
Therefore, we need to organise our mind first, so that it can follow our command, consciously rather than give us the compulsive commands.
Never step forward just based on assumptions, fancies and fantasies.
May be certain career option, look glamorous and promising but does it suit to your lifestyle, skills, family dynamics, physical and emotional strength.
All jobs have some aspect that some people will be completely turned off by so it is important to understand, what exactly is involved in the “Average day” of the career, you have in mind.
If possible, talk to people who are already working in that field. They will be able to give you a good idea of the pros and cons of the career.
Last but not the least, use your own skills. Once you have decided upon your likes and dislikes, getting your skill involved is your next step.
Any special skills, qualification or experience and exposure, you have had that might help you.
Figure out your strength and weakness. It is important to figure out what you are good at, not your friends nor your parents but you.
You should realize that you should not come under pressure to choose a certain stream or career just because your family or your friends said to.
You need to do what you are good at and you will only find out once you know your strengths.
Just think about what you really want and what you really love.
At the end I want to say that to become successful person in life, you should be : AWARE, AWAKE and CAPABLE.
