COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST (CUET) 2024

The National Testing Agency started the CUET 2024 registration process on February 27 in online mode. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 from May 15 to May 31, in hybrid mode.

The National Testing Agency has announced the CUET 2024 entrance exam dates. NTA will start the CUET UG registration 2024 in online mode.

WHAT IS CUET?

The CUET exam 2024 is an entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in 44 central universities and over 250 universities throughout the country. CUET UG will be held in over 300 cities in India, using 13 different mediums. The CUET UG examination will be conducted in online mode. This CUET 2024 entrance exam opens doors to approximately 44 central universities, state institutions, private universities, deemed universities, and other esteemed educational institutions.

STEPS TO FILL CUET FORM

Below mentioned are the steps to guide you to fill the exam form for CUET 2024

1. Visit the official link of NTA CUET 2024: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/
2. Click on the tab ‘New Registration’
3. Enter the personal details to create login credentials

4. Verify the mobile number by entering the OTP sent on the registered number

5. Re-login with the CUET 2024 credentials created

6. Screen will now display the CUET 2024 form

7. Fill detailed CUET 2024 application form by entering:

• Personal details
• Educational qualifications
• Courses preferred
• University preference
• CUET subject

8. In the final step pay CUET form fees 2024.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must have completed or is appearing in class 12th examination.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

CUET eligibility 2024 states the criteria to appear for the entrance exam and admission process of the participating university. As per the CUET 2024 eligibility criteria:

• Candidate must have completed or is appearing in class 12th examination.
• To appear for the CUET 2024 exam, there are no age criteria.
• Candidate must check the course criteria before filling the CUET 2024 application form.

CUET UG 2024 syllabus is prescribed by NTA. As per the CUET UG syllabus 2024:

FAQ’s

Q. How many Exam Centre choices can be filled?

A. While filling the CUET 2024 application form, candidates will have choice to enter any two cities of their choice. Exam centre preference once entered will be final.

Q. In which language the exam will be conducted?

A. Candidates will be able to choose from 13 languages for CUET 2024 exam medium. CUET 13 languages are: English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Urdu.

Q. How many Universities can a candidate choose?

A. There is no cap on the number of participating Universities that candidates may select, at the time of filling CUET 2024 application form.

Q. How many Subjects can be choosen for the exam?

A. The maximum number of CUET subjects to be taken is 10 only. The number of subjects might be reduced.

Q. What are the Slot Timing for CUET UG 2024?

A. CUET UG 2024 slot timing has been released. Refer the table below for details:

Q. Why has been number of CUET subject choice reduced?

A. The number of CUET subjects have been reduced to facilitate smooth conduct of the exam. The number of choice has been reduced from 10 to 6.

Q. How many attempts can I take for CUET UG?

A. CUET UG is conducted once in a year. Candidates will have one attempt to appear for CUET. The entrance examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses.
